Robert Purton
Partner
“With over 36 years of practical experience, I enjoy both the strategic and detailed challenges in delivering the nation’s data, logistics and medical critical infrastructure.”
Robert is a firm believer that planning is all about people. In this context key to delivering commercial development on behalf of both international and national investors is the ability to understand differing aspirations and how they can be accommodated within the constantly evolving planning system. This frequently involves having a deep understanding of policy objectives, politics and the legal context in order to devise a de-risked strategy that enables project teams to secure an implementable planning permission.
Once a conditional planning permission is secured Robert’s eye for detail and strategy is frequently used by clients to orchestrate the discharge of conditions and legal obligations in tandem with contractors delivering on site, while incorporating bespoke end user’s requirements.
