Joanne is chair of David Lock Associates and has over 30 years of experience as a planner and urban designer. Driven by the desire to shape places that enrich people’s lives in multiple ways, Jo’s expertise is in crafting plans and strategies that promote good design outcomes at all scales through the planning system.
Jo’s current projects include the 4000 dwelling expansion of Canterbury for GummerLeathes, and the 11,000 home Framework Master Plan for Hemel Garden Communities and The Crown Estate. Since 2008 she has supported the planning team at Wokingham Borough Council to plan and deliver several strategic growth sites.
